Who we are
Clipency (“we”, “us”) runs clipency.in, the Clipency client dashboard and the Clipency creator dashboard. Questions about this policy go to hello@clipency.in.
What we collect
When you book a call: your name, email, WhatsApp number, company website and budget range, plus the time you book. Bookings are scheduled through Calendly, which receives your name, email and number.
When you use a dashboard: your account email and sign-in details (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in readable form), your profile, and the work you do in the dashboard. For creators and clippers that includes your social media handles, the links to clips you submit, their view counts and your payout details. For clients it includes your campaigns, budgets and review decisions.
On your device: we store a few items in your browser’s local storage so the site works: your light or dark theme, your signed-in session, and the dashboard you last used. These are not advertising cookies.
Analytics: if analytics is switched on, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It does not tell us who you are.
Why we use it
To reply to you and run the call you booked; to run campaigns, review clips and pay creators; to keep accounts secure; and to improve the site. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run Clipency: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Calendly (booking), Google (analytics, if enabled) and the messaging tools we use to contact you. Clients see the public clips and handles of creators who work on their campaigns. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for as long as we are in contact with you. Account data is kept while your account is open and then deleted or anonymised, except records we must keep for payments and tax.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your data, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@clipency.in and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, access to dashboards requires signing in, and each account can only see its own data. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
